It’s all made with love and sometimes a little magic…

How did we get here? Well it all starts with a dream, doesn’t it? Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to do something in the arts. Once I got to High School, I took my first Fashion Design class and I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up: Design. At the time I didn’t know what exactly, but I knew I wanted to design clothes. In 2015, I graduated Huntington High School and started my college experience at Pratt Institute for Fashion Design. The following year, my friend and I, who was also attending college in NYC, went to the Star Wars and the Power of Costume exhibit in Times Square. My friend and I walked back and forth in the exhibit for… probably longer than we should have, but I simply didn’t want to leave! I knew on that day, that I wanted to do costuming. Fantasy inspires a lot of my work, in and out of costuming. From June 2018-June 2019 I had an amazing opportunity to work in the most magical place on earth: Walt Disney World working as a Workroom Intern! I was mainly working with the pattern making and millinery teams. Now that I have just graduated from Pratt with a BFA in Fashion Design, I hope to go back one day to work in Walt Disney World Costuming in the future. For now I am working from home, making reusable masks and art. I’ve really been inspired to create oil paintings recently, since I’ve taken a painting class within my last semester at Pratt.
